In addition, we will teach staff how to manage an unresponsive casualty’s airway and how to administer oxygen correctly.
We will also take colleagues through how to operate an AED automated external defibrillator device and will also teach staff how to work together in an emergency to ensure there is no confusion or crossover of duties in what is a very stressful and demanding situation.
We will also carry out an audit of your emergency response equipment and emergency drugs to ensure you are remaining compliant with regulations.
The practical training can be delivered over a 3hr period at a time that suits the practice, the training can also be supported through online distance learning to help save time and ensure colleagues are not away from patients for too long.
